What a pilot includes

The Guardian app for every family

Parents at the pilot school get the full iOS app and web access: dismissal plans, same-day changes, approved pickup adults, identity verification, and release notifications.

The admin portal for every staff role

Front office, teachers, and after-care staff each get their own view. Roster synced from your SIS, roles set up before day one.

Setup and training

Roster import, dismissal modes configured to your school, a one-hour staff training, and ready-to-send parent guides for your office.

A named contact

One person on our team who knows your school and responds within 1–2 hours during the school day.

Weekly check-ins

A short call each week for the first month, then monthly. We track average time to release, changes made by parents, and staff questions.

A clear decision point

At the end of the semester you get a summary of what happened and a district pricing proposal. Continue, expand, or stop.

Timeline

Week 1
Roster import and configurationWe connect to PowerSchool, Skyward, or Infinite Campus and set up grades, rooms, and dismissal modes.
Week 2
Family invitationsParents receive an invitation, install the Guardian app, verify their identity, and set each child's plan.
Week 3
Staff training and first live dismissalOne hour of training for office staff and teachers, then a real dismissal with our team on call.
Weeks 4–16
Run itDaily dismissal with weekly check-ins. Adjustments to modes, rooms, or roles as your school needs them.
End of semester
Review and decideA summary of results, feedback from staff and parents, and a proposal for the district.

Read-only access to your roster so students, guardians, and rooms stay in sync without double entry.
